Impressive collection! The one thing that caught my eye was the vintage R/C Subaru Brat. They used one like it in the movie 'The Manhattan Project'
where the kid used it to get the plutonium outside the building thru a hole in the wall. The driver's head would turn with the steering. I'm not sure
if that was for the movie effect or not, but it was cool nonetheless.

Thanks for all of the positive feed back guys. The two display case that are under the test track are in my living room, [bachelors' can get buy with
things like that]. I have been building and collecting since the 60's and never get rid of anything, so the rest of the house looks the same. That could be
a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.

It still gets used on acation. The Tamiya Tyrrell was used to run up and down the hallways in high school, [many, many years ago] in till the teachers had there say in the matter. Then it was used in the student parking lot. I don't get to play with it much anymore. No blacktop out here in the country. These pics are 3 or 4 years old now. I'll have to get the camera out and see what else I can find of interest. |
