Ok, I was not sure how to word this as word do not seem to describe the madness that happened here Saturday.
We had a big race at the commercial track Sunday that Pecos Kid wanted to be in. It was a classic NASCAR event and he had his 49 Merc ready to go.
But when he saw our car hauler trailers...he wanted one too! So here is Pecos and the ever diligent LocoRacer Tom working on the design for his trailer.
Ok so now work starts and they begin building...
Yeah..I know, my basement is trashed, it always looks that way.
In a few hours he had a car hauler!
Yes indeed...he was ready!

Old Bud Erb has tow duty this weekend!
And finally my rig...(car not yet completed)
Let's see..about 40 hours combined scratchbuilding time went into these "delicate" rigs.
What do grown men like us do with them? RACE them of course!
Oh, it does not matter that they physically can not pass because they are too wide...oh no...wait til they swing out in the corners, THEN HAMMER IT!
We soon realized we were having a blast and the wreck we had with these are some of the funniest things you could ever see!
Here the Ambulance had to called after Pecos got jack-knifed and T-Boned HARD by Tom!
This was a common scene! How many pile ups we had...not sure, but boy was it a hoot to watch.

So ok guys....get building and come down to HRW for some fun!!!
