I recently purchased 2 SCX Nascar cars. The motor pod is very free on one and not the other. How do I go about freeing up the tight one?

Hello 'South, do a bit of sanding around the edge of the chassis. Or you can take a hobby knife and use just the edge to scrape along the edge of the
chassis. Also do a bit of sanding along the sides of the motor pod where it's close to the chassis edge. This should help.
Which car has the chassis that doesn't move well? Is the chassis shiney or a more flat colored black? Dave |

Dave,
The chassis are both kind of a semi-gloss black. One in the #29 Monte Carlo, the other the #9 Charger. Thanks for the info. |

You might also want to check the holes the pod posts stick into. They might not be as open as the one that moves easily.
