I have had this idea for a couple years (and some of the material) I think someone on the forum had done something similar. I found a cheap battery operated
slot track (2 years ago) in an easter basket. It came with 4 bodies 2 chassis of approximately 1:43 scale. My plan was to make wheels\tires for the bodies and
glue them in place. I was struggling to construct 16 decent looking feux tires from scrap I already had and accidently happened accross these Mach 5 pull back
cars at Mall-Wart for 2 bucks each. I am, as you may have figured, a fan of the Mach 5 (still not sure why) and decided they would be great. Well I mounted
them with screws to the track and it just looked bleh.

as good as I remember being at painting but I gave it a shot. I had an old battery op clock headed for the trash so a little engineering, some hot glue, an

I can now concentrate on getting the rest of the unfinished projects off the table and set my track back up.
