We are pleased to announce that the 2008 PANAMERICAN 'PLAFIT' CHAMPIONSHIPS will take place on OCT 4th and OCT 5th at MID AMERICA RACEWAY in Chicago. The 2008 PANAM PLAFIT CHAMPIONSHIP will bring one of the greatest slot racing events in the world to North America this year. For those of you that may not be familiar with this event, here is a video clip of the 2007 DPM that was contested last year by more than 200 racers, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ARhMOstyTk Registration is open through July 1 2008 and will be limited to 24 TEAMS on a first come basis. A complete rolling Plafit Excel Pro chassis will be provided to each team as part of the registration fee. The Porsche GT1 has been a favorite amoung Plafit competitor's in past years and all of the Technical Regulations for 2008 are now posted on the Plafit Website, so you can check out the list of approved bodies for this event.
