On a serious note, if you are renting, you might want to build your track with the thought of dis-assembling it in the future. Whatever that might entail in your case. You have a very suitable starting point. It appears you did not have to fudge any connections or strain the track to connect the circuit. There is a goodly amount of track in a relatively small area and it fits great with your original design work. Nicely done.
