I've been using some of the bodies that Steve over at Boss Bodies produces and have been impressed with thier durability and light weight. A couple weeks
ago he mentioned that he had a few 'unreleased' bodies coming up that just needed to be built and photographed so I offered to do one for him. I'm
a Ford man at heart so I was quite pleased when I opened the box and found a '68 Torino inside
Carrera has a fastback NASCAR Torino out and several popular paint jobs are represented.. I decided to do this one up as a NASCAR racer as well, but find a livery that had not been done yet. I decided on AJ Foyts 1969 Daytona 500 car that he drove to a 4th place finish. I did have to use some slight artistic license due to the way I trimmed the wheel wells, but overall it looks the part.
Here are the finished pictures... I'll post some 'during the build' pictures over on the Oval Action board where I usually post my builds as well.
I'm going to grab another one of these Torinos do do up as a Saturday night street stock car as well.. Great body~!
Thanks for the look~
