In other words, is the polarity where the motor and traction magnets face each other attract or repel? I've bought a handful now and they all attract. Most of the Tyco X2s for example repel. We used to buy "reverse zapped" traction magnets to get the extra down force created by matching the fields of the motor magnets. Has anyone else seen "matched" traction magnets with their Super IIIs? or did I just get Lucky? Thanks, Paul

My 440-T2 from BSRT came with matched traction mags. The newish Mattel/Hot Wheels set cars mags match standard Tyco mags, but still don't match each other.
