Here is an idea to lengthen guide blades and drop the front of a car. Very carefully remove some of the plastic from the guide in area A. This all depends
on thickness of the blade in area A and how brave you are. I am nowhere near the .030" ground clearance allowed at our track and we are to the place of
microengineering in the development process and I want to compete with those #%$#^$# Moslers that are spot on.

Make sure not to push the wire eyelets all the way through their holes in the guide after you do this.

I have short eyelets on the Ninco guide I tried it on and of course there are no eyelets on Scaley, but good point Shawn. Length of guide blade is crucial on
some turns at the Monza track at Fastlane. After writing the original post I was thinking that this is another area to be policed in box stock classes (which I
don't run). The guide itself may have to be lowered if the front wheels hold the car in its original position or the wheels raised.

We sand down our guide flags all of the time. If you are running non-magnet cars will usually handle better if the front wheels actually support the front of
the car. With many cars the front of the car is supported by the guide flag and the front wheels are mostly for show. I have a jig for sanding guide flags; it
amounts to a board with a slot in it with stick-on 60 grit sand paper on either side of the slot.
