The goal was to remotor either the scaley Lotus/Eagle or the SCX vintage F1 cars so that they could race each other. We have a variable power supply and will
run no mag. The scaleys run great no mag at 9 to 10 volts. The SCX cars hardly moved, so we have remotered the SCX cars with the Scalextric F1 motors.

On my 110' carrera track, at 9 1/2 volts, they all run within .2 of each other with the same driver and have generally the same feel. Could not have worked out better. This was a cheap and easy way to go. (the motors were 2 for $10.00 at ElectricDreams)
