Ok, I have more than a few emails in the last 2 weeks...and since they are from members here, I will clear the air once and for all.
It seems some people feel they have the right to post anything they want. Well, sorry, that is not going to happen. You don't have that right. We have simple rules here to try and keep things clean and fun like we have for years. We will not change it.
The use of profanity, nudity, or political rants will not be tolerated. This is a slot car forum. If you want to argue politics...there are a bazillion boards out there for it. If you want to swear, show nude photos...there are plenty of boards for that. That includes right here in the lounge. Off topic stuff so far has been just fine...I appreciate all of you who have helped make this forum a fun little place.
There are younger members here. They may not be seen...but they come often. I want to keep it as clean and family-friendly as possible. 99 percent of you do this already...and help me police the ones who do not.

So the answer is YES, I will censor this.
If you have items for sale...then try and put them in the for sale forum. Putting up 2 or 3 different ads in 2 or 3 different forums simply increases our bandwidth...and cost to host the forum.
If you are a dealer, YES please use the main 1/32 to announce new releases. This is the main spot where racers go, and letting them know what you have coming in helps us addicts with our pre-order choices. (at least helps me)???
I look at new releases as the latest news. You got it coming? Let us know...most of the dealers and vendors here are the ones who help keep this place running with review product and they also donate prizes and such for many of our little race events. So I don't have a problem with any of them posting new toys in the main 1/32.

NO...there is no fee for banner ads. There is not one dealer or vendor on this board who has ever had to pay a dime to advertise. YES...it is appreciated when they send product in for review and prizes...but it is not required. However, common sense will come into play. If you are a dealer/vendor who gives back to the enthusiasts by helping to support HRW...well, I will support you even further. Fair is fair.
LINKS...all links to any slot car related article are encouraged. This means to any site...SCI, SlotForum...etc. We are not in competition with any other site. This site is free...we have nothing to lose by sending folks to other sites where the info they may need is available. That is what places like this should be for.
