Just read the review here. It seemed to be going along perfectly, and as i awaited to read about the wood track racing results, i expected to see details of
magnet vs no magnet performance.Then the review seemed to end abruptly, and on a negative note. I too have these cars, and i think they are better than you say
they are. As in MOST rtr 1/32 cars we buy today, they need some minor work to perform better. You did point that out, but ended the review with negative
comments, and i feel that any negative comments on brand newly issued cars only hurts the cars, the manufacturers, and the car sales.
Out of the box, with my gears broken in with toothpaste, the car quieted down quite well, and is a great racer. I plan to remove the traction magnets, and add weight to the chassis bottom for no magnet testing. I see these cars as a very much welcomed group of highly anticipated arrivals in this hobby, and a more positive review would do them proper justice. Maybe you will consider editing your review to reflect a more postive note at the end. I really love these cars, will buy one to race, one to collect, and will buy all they release. My thanks to Monogram for these releases!
