We decided to celebrate the re-birth of Gordo's track with a W.A.S.T.E.D weekend. Racers from Saskatchewan and British Columbia joined the faithful in
Edmonton, Alberta over the weekend.:canada: No one took anything seriously and we enjoyed a lot of impromptu racing, funny stories, food and the occasional
beverage.
:
Kerry joined us from the "Island" on the "Wet Coast", and had to put up with the usual, "I can drive faster than you can" abuse. Good thing he has a good sense of humour in addition to his superlative driving skills.

Gordo trying to be Kerry
We had a taste of almost everything on Gordo's newly renovated track and the crowd was sometimes three deep by the track.

Many thanks to Gordo and Dave who did a great job hosting the racing. It was great to spend a day around such fun loving guys who share a great hobby.
Cheers,
