The Acura story is on now, personally I think they will be a force to be reckoned with, it also seems a natural progression for slot companies to start doing this car to run with the Penske and Dyson cars.

Penske is still the team beat in P2 and they'll "accidentally" score an overall win or two this year. But then I've been a Penske fan since Mark Donohue drove Z-28s for him in TransAm!

What is wrong with GT1??? Why doesn't anyone except AM ever step up and enter a car? What's the use of winning a zillion championships in a row if there's no one to race against?

I loved it when they were trying to do an interview just as the entire field went by leaving the pits. Was that the Peugeot or Audi diesel making that terrible popping sound at low revs?

OK.....2 things.....Only 3 GT1 entries!?!?! And also....A Vette in GT2?!?!?! Crazy. Although GT1 will be a LOT more interesting this year since it's not just Porsche Ferrari Porsche Ferrari Porsche..... And also, I'd love to have a 1/32 Acura to go against the other LMPs coming out.

The Vette is a C6 not C6R so it is more like what runs in Speed World Challenge and GrandAm. Dyson ran the Porsche last year. The DB9S is actually an FIA GT3 as is the Viper.
The Peugeot was actually faster in LMP1/2 qualifying but that session was red flagged by the Mazda debacle. Therefore, the ALMS went to practice times to determine the grid. They felt that was more fair for all concerned as some cars didn't even get out. I don't think Peugeot is happy, but they're on the front row.
We do need more GT1 cars in the States. FIA GT and LMS have quite a few more than that, including Saleen's, Mosler's and others. With two good series in Europe, they get better sponsor $'s.
