Almost two years ago, I started a third installment of light reviews to follow up the previous two articles I had written. Most of the work was done, but
some editing and photo selection still remained. Along came a new puppy, a new baby and a fair bit of house renovation to accomodate the
newcomers.
The completion of
the third article dropped lower and lower on the priority list, until most of my Slot stuff was packed away in storage. The sawdust and diapers flew for over
a year, until this spring my wife unearthed a box in the bottom of a closet and asked, "can I throw this out?"
It was the electronics and CD from my Light Kit Review Part 3. With guilt gnawing at me for leaving the project unfinished, I was determined to be done with it.
Although it is a bit
dated, I hope that some new slot racers might get something from the observations. I also included a link to my second article as it reflects a bit of how
far we have come with lighting and racing our slot cars. Last, I must apologize to Philippe Marchand, who must have written me off as an opportunistic
deadbeat for not completing the article until now.
