Posts: 41 (02/23/08 09:40 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Decided that other than a 1/32 Artin class, at least 2 of the other 3 classes (1-1/32, 2-1/24) will be scratch built. I am looking for a jig I read about somewhere (forgot to bookmark, duh!!). If I recall correctly it was built off the old Russkit Adjust-O-jig design. And since it has been 20-25 years since I've scratch built a slot car chassis, where can I find the ears for the rear axle bushings/bearings? I've scoured the Koford, Parma, and Proffesor Motor sites and cannot find what I am looking for. Guess I might have to make my own eh?!!

Posts: 35 (02/24/08 12:34 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	you realy don't nead any thing for the bushings you could just solder them to the chassis or use brass tubing to hold the raer axle. that is what i use on my cars and i have never had any problems. just keep the brass tube oiled otherwise it makes a awful noise.o ya there fast too even using artin motors.

The Briggs unit is the one I was trying to recall and I found the Russkit jig shortly after making my original post. I've decided to make my own for now since I will only be doing a couple different chassis versions.
