How about a light kit for your cars for under $9?
Ill just cut right to it.
No fancy packaging...........
no elaborate design..........
just the basic components too put head and taillights on your car........................ and yes, they are the type to stay on after its power has been cut.
Im not a company or even a small buisness.
Im just a guy who does alot fabricating for 1:1 cars and I use that "know how" in everything else and it helps me to provide "stuff" to people at better prices.
Im not looking to get rich off anyone.
Im truly trying to help fellow slotters achieve there perfect cars.
You will be able to tell by the parts that my profit is about $1 per kit.
Heres whats in it:
3 white LEDs (1 extra just incase)
3 red LEDs (1 extra just incase)
resistors for LEDS
1 diode
1 voltage regulator
1 memory capacitor (the pricey part)
ground wire
power wire
and very easy to follow instructions
All in a very stylish "zip lock" snack bag.
Heres a couple answers to some common questions:
Sorry, but no "brake light function"
They are not on a bread board, they are kept as seperate componants so you can choose their best mounting location.
I do have some very nice and bright "yellow" LEDs that I can swap out for the headlights for all you racing fans.
Just let me know when ordering.

I had added fog lights to that EVO to mimick a car from my nephews favorite cartoon.
So $8.50 per kit.

Heres some new pics to show the install.
Ive mounted the components on a little piece of styrene (a piece of a "for sale" sign).
You dont have to do it my way but it makes it easier for me since the chassis I make are very narrow.
If that looks like a way you would do it, then Ive included the "plans" for it below.
Please note the "blacked out" headlight lenses that the LEDs have no problem shinning through.
Its at its right scale, ready to print.
