I have posted a few pictures to help show the finished work ... hope it helps.
If for any reason you're not sure ... please ... just ask.
After you have taking the car all apart ... it should look like this.

At the back of the chassis there are two mounting pods.
Grind them off, so that the pannel is smooth.

Now test fit the chassis to the body. The holes should now fit over the post. You may have to file the holes a little to make it fit.
Don't worry the bumper arms will now suport the chassis.
You may also have to file the back of the chassis where it meets the bumper.
You will now need two small washers for mounting the chassis to the body.
This is how the car should sit. Most of the guys have already driven one of these cars after this modifacation. The differance is like night & day.
I shoud NOTE if you are using one of the Fords ... you will have to also grind some of the inner fender well away for tire clarence.
Before doing this change the rear tires. You will need a set of PPR's for this mod. The tire # is 1302 ... they are .932 O.D. tire size.
Note: this is the spec tire for this class & all the cars will have to use this tire.

The hard part is done.
To finish the car you will need to get rid of the directional switch & the interior (replace the interior with a lexan one). Replace the motor with a NC-1 motor. Leave the 9 tooth pinion that comes on the NC-1 on the motor.
This motor snaps rite in with no changes.
Replace the front tires (not the wheels) with Ninco classic tires.
The last change to be made is the exhaust pipes. The chassis has two exhaust pipes mounted to it. You will need to (your choose) remove them or you can notch the body to fit over them.

There you have it ... the car is now finished. Screw the body on & take it for a spin.
The car should now be fun to drive & with a little fine tunning (weight & truing the tires) I think you're gonna love it!
Again Guys ... if any one is not sure about any of the work listed above.
Please just ask. There is plenty of help out there if you want it. ... J Y D a/k/a eddielives
P.S. we run them with no magnets & the NC-1 motor.
if you want to leave the Carrera motor & the magnets in the car ... that's up to you.
My post is based a class that our group is racing in a series.
& Then There's Dog Pound Racing
