I'm glad to be part of this group and I'm certain to learn a lot as I've returned to slot car racing after 3 decades of leaving it! But now I see it's better than ever with a far greater variety of cars ( and trucks!) and the track surfaces that are incredible! At present, my son (11 years old) and I LOVE our SCX 1/32 scale GT Championship set as we've added the lap counter, stop light and speedometer as well as a Ferrari 330 P4 and 2 1963 Corvette Grand Sports ( one Nassau version and one Sebring version). The racing has allowed us even more time together and has put an eagerness to add more track to the set (10 sections thus far) and has curtailed his video game time! I'm thrilled over the high detail of the cars and have introduced a friend of ours into the hobby (he also bought the same set we have!) and looking forward to starting a slot racing club! I guess one of our first "members" will be my 3 year old daughter who loves racing the cars, too! ( She has her own 1/43 scale cars!) So, here we goooooooooooo!

Posts: 5 (08/07/08 11:03 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi , I am Gd Pat from France I have fun on an ARTIN DIGI PRO made of 3 sets (more than 18 meters) then I got many cars and an analog rail then banked curves then a RACY ACTION WORLD (ARTIN for Germany) set around 4 meters Then a sell of different sets from Germany around 15 meters What I like is a NASCAR Track on the outside and an analog/digital track in the inside of the Oval here is a link to one of the french most interesting site on slot racing where you could find pictures of my track DIGITALIZED cars as far as I am concerned was a real dream, it gave a real new fun to 2-line racing !

I am still changing my tracks layout ! at least once a month ! but I am having great fun ! Nascar is always a fantastic track ! banked curves, all full speed, both my children had fun (a 4 and a half year old boy, and my daughter not yet reaching her 2 years !!) Well let's go back to the attic !

I'm Attila from France; I'm a slotaddict man like everybody on this forum, of course ! I've a blog, a scalextric sport track with some scalextric classic parts, a little strombecker track and 2 wooden track (and a new one in my head...) I got a lot of 1970's cars because i like so much old speed cars in the classic old races like Le Mans... and when i found some time, i made some resin scratchs and give a little help to my old father with his HO trains. I like so much to use my hands and my head to find some simple resolution with a rubber band or an end of plastic. That's all for beginning !
