Well received the track from hot shoe on Friday. Started laying it out on Saturday. Now have to build a table and get some tape and wire. Hope fully I can get started next weekend.

Now...
When a guy posts a pic of the lumber "before" he builds the table for his track, you just know he's excited about it... |

Well got the legs for the table cut Saturday but I need 2 more pieces of lumber and the table should go together relatively easy. I purchased a 2000lb. winch Saturday and that will be the power to raise and lower the track. The cable system parts, for raising and lowering the table should arrive this week and then it should be clear sailing from there except for wiring. I'll keep you guys posted.

Just be sure that you have a way of locking the table when in the up position. Some winches do not have either dynamic or mechanical braking so be very careful. I've used my winch as a "hoist" for many different projects without an issue but your mileage may vary.
Good luck with your project, Roberto |

Roberto,
definetly thought of that as my Saleen Mustang is going to be parked under it. Will use 1/4" cable attached to the trusses to hold it in place. |

was able to get a little more work on the track done saturday, most of the frame work is done, had a little set back have to hinge a 3' section of the track so i will be able to open a door on the side of the garage
next will be getting the system hooked up to lift it to the ceiling ![]()

And my wife thinks MY track takes up too much of the garage! Wow...skinny folks only...Is there enough room on the sides to walk around? The pics make it look tight. Solid though!
