H&R/Pro Track Guidelines
CLASSES
1969 - 1979 NASCAR
1966 - 1972 Trans Am
These guidelines apply to both classes.
1. Breakout will be 10 seconds (may be adjusted)
2. All cars are to represent the era and class which they are in as they apply. Decals, body trim, paint, head/tail light covers, wheel
inserts, detail is up to the builder. Decals are plentiful for this era racing in both classes. Links to some sites below.
3. All cars should have a ¾ to full size driver figure. This can be any figure (army man ect.) made to resemble a driver.
4. All cars are to utilize the model kit interior tray (per example). (no lexan interiors)
5. Tires/wheels may be Pro Track or H&R brand, and can be rubber/foam or silicone coated. Preferance is yours..
6. Front tires on all 4 corners recomended (skinnys) & per #2 tires should be inside the fenders all around
7. Motors in the 18000 - 20000 RPM range (remember 10 second breakout) nc5 recomended 9-36 / 10-36 gear ratio
This is just a start to get some cars in the building stages. There will probably be some adjustments as we get the wheels rolling.
