Evil... just evil. The only defense will be to out corner him.

Those knobby tires get any grip?

If that's wrong...what's this?
I've been getting Control Freak back in working order for The Derby on Sunday. Had some issues after its maiden voyage at HRW HQ last summer. The motor got way too hot. So, I had to add a cooling vent to the bottom of it. I had to guess the location, drill holes around it and then finish the cutting job w/a knife to get the opening I needed.
Hopefully, I got any and all pieces of plastic dust out of the motor or it might be a short trip around the track. Then I had to get some inserts to finish the job. These are the rims from the Pro Finish Nascar model kits of old. If anyone ever had one...they would know just how much plastic had to be removed to make them work. Plus, I sand my inserts by hand to get them just right and to be a press fit...no glue. I guess I took away 75% of the model rim to get them to fit. I think they jazz it up nicely, but my left hand was throbbing when I was done with them.
Hopefully, its 2nd voyage on the big wood at Bullitt will be good to go!!!
