Ahh, Harry, that looks fantastic. Any chance that could be hand delivered to a temporarily bedridden gimp? Just checking. If not I'll just have to drool
over the pics.

Good grief, Harry, are those ribs? Where do you find ribs with that much meat on them? Or are they pork loin roasts? I can't tell from the picture.

I'm about to go get meat for the weekend, and that one looks like it has bones sticking out against the grill. I thought I was going to have to have a
serious talk with the hog butcher! I'm considering doing a version of the Magnificent Fatty this weekend. Depends a lot on whether I'm going to be
lazy. Those things look like a lot of work.

Boy Harry I would love to be there. Seein' that food and those wreckers, just beautiful. I suppose I'd be pressing my luck to ask the little lady to
drive me there. I think I'm on her last nerve already, lol. Ah, it's only the beginning, hehe.

I hate to insert something serious here, but if you like, I'll try to get you an online source. By the way, I approve- its almost the same as mine, just a
bit sweeter. You put it on at the last minute, don't you? Otherwise, it burns.
When I retired to Virginia, I couldn't get a lot of my favorite stuff, so I have developed a long list of places to get the groceries my locals don't get. Can you believe I can't get half of the Avery Island Tobasco products? Or even Allen Canning/Trappey's/Texas Fair canned goods? How do these people live?

I lived in Waco 11 years, and was very surprised by the foods. All the canned things I love from the Deep South (Allen Canning/Trappey's/Texas Fair, all
one outfit from Siloam Springs, Arkansas) were there at HEB and Albertson's, and yes, Shiner and I are old friends, as was Blue Bell Ice Cream, from very
nearby Shiner. What really shocked me was the lack of Mexican (make that Texican), maw and paw restaurants I had looked forward to. Incredibly, there were Taco
Bell's on every corner, and lots of burger joints (but I really miss Whataburger). Sometime in the past, people told me, the fast food places came in a ran
the little Mexican places out of business. I found a great place in Gatesville, another in Hearne, and Rosebud, one in Greune, and Greene's Sausage House
in Zabcikville is world class. I mean that. No place in the world I have visited has ever come close to the cafe, or the sausage in that tiny little crossroad
of a town, not far from the huge metropolis of Cyclone, where Bonnie and Clyde once stole a tank of gas at the Old Store, which is across a path from the New
Store, and is the same family's operation. But all the places I mention are American food. I was really looking forward to the Texican food I had the first
two times I was in Texas many years earlier, and other than in people's homes, and what I learned to make, I never found it. There were some decent places
for Mexican food, but nothing like what I had enjoyed 2 decades before, with little old Mexican ladies "team cooking" in the kitchen.

Ugg i miss Blue bell. read a Ice Cream review a little while ago on yahoo and it rated Blue Bell only 1.5 out of 5. I don't know what they had but I can
honestly say Blue Bell is one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted.

Sounds like the guy was lactose intolerant. People do things like that without thinking how dumb it is.
I won third place once at a pork BBQ contest, then found out the head judge's name was Swartz. My friend Katz laughed at me for hours. I was speechless.
