As most of you probably noticed, I haven't been on the board too much lately. I'm sure alot of you also know I ride a ATV as another hobby which I have been doing more and more of. I met I big group of local riders that get together every week and we go all over the place to ride whether it be the state off road park or the local MX tracks. Which brings me to the point of all this. I have not touched a slot car or my track for over a good 2 months at least, since all my spare time is with the family or riding. I wanted to upgrade my ATV to something newer and faster so in order to do that I had to make a few scarifices to keep the wife happy. I decided that I am still young enough to enjoy the sport and right now its what I want to do and spend what time I can doing it. My wife pretty much told me if I got a new bike the toy cars need to go, I dont need both. Since I havent touched slots or the track in so long I agreed that it was a waste for these things to just sit and collect dust and a track to sit unfinished taking up space. Its the people in this hobby that make it so enjoyable but when you dont have people to share it with face to face its not very fun. Knowing me I will never leave for good but I will be taking a big step back for awhile and enjoy the riding for now. I will still be around the boards now and again.

With all of that said, the new toy I picked up last weekend is a 2008 Suzuki Quadracer LT-R450. It is basically a race bike right from the factory, add a kill switch and you can take it right to the track to compete. Its a whole new beast to learn being 450cc's, fuel injected, and only weighing 368lbs. Top speed on it is around 84mph. Here are a few pic's if anyone is interested.
