Trust me, I didn't set that car on the table with any kind of pride.

This is what you get when you're still putting styrene putty on the car at noon on Friday, and you're hoping to leave by 5 PM. When you're choosing what to do with your last hours between fixing the wobbly wheel, rebuilding the chassis, sanding the car, getting the gears right, or priming and painting, it turns out that there are no good choices except to leave it at home.

I named the car 'Abomination 1'. And don't hate me for my mad modeling skillz...

I'm glad the thread is here -- I was afraid we wouldn't get any comedy out of it...

I'm not going to criticize his modeling skills, heck I didn't even build a car for the LSR, but it does have some nice wheels and motor. I know Ferry Porsche is most likely spinning in his grave. Are we still friends Kurt?

Nice wheels, though? That was my biggest problem. On Friday, I discovered that the inner diameter of one of the MB Slot wheels was so large, that putting the axle in was like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. (Thank you, Family Guy) It couldn't have run with those wheels even if the gears didn't strip.

Oh, I was well aware of how bad it looked. But wow, seeing it in pictures.....I'm......appalled.

Next year, I hope to get some wheels that actually fit on the axle, and we'll see just how bad this thing looks on the track.
