Harry,
I'll have some set up photos very soon. We wanted to send some last night but didn't get out of the shop until about 3am. Dan and Kurt had a few moments like this guy . These two tracks are just crazy long.
Cross your finger we should be good to go by 9am |

We switched software once as SRM was too complicated to learn at the last minute. TRakmate's free speedtrp.exe worked immediately. Brent's timing stuff
is a jewel.

I haven't seen a lot of people posting that they were entering, so if we have a relatively light schedule, I'd hate to start real early and be done by 10 AM.
I'm also planning on coming out Friday night after work, if Bruce is going to open the warehouse for us to work. |

Jesla wrote:Well, in the Manufacturer's Class, the very first run (HotRodBob's first run) set the tone by beating the current world record by 10% at 33 real mph. By the time the Manufacturer's Class was over, this had gone up to something like 47 or 48 real mph from Rod's (JetGuy's) NSR Mosler. In the modified class, DynoTom staggered all onlookers with a blistering run of 117 miles per hour. I was scared for Dan Dyke and Pat Moore at the scorer's table. And just for fun, after it was over, we dialed
up the power supplies to 20 volts. Tom's monster run was nearly 160 REAL MILES PER HOUR. Rod tried his Manufacturer's Class Mosler, made a few mods,
and clocked 141 miles per hour.
It was just amazing. The top guys put on an incredible show. Just when you think that you've seen it all in slot cars, you find something else to totally surprise you. It was a lot of hard work for a lot of great guys, and it was a real privilege to be a part of this.
I like cottage cheese. That's why I want to try other dwelling cheeses, too. How about studio apartment cheese? Tent cheese? Mobile home
cheese? Do not eat mobile home cheese in a tornado.

Tom's and ROd's cars on the top end were amazing, but the advantage Tom had as you watched the missile coming at you was stability. His car hugged the
track and was putting the power down all the way. Stability was the problem for many of the DNFs. Tom's engineering out of the box was incredible, but Rod
was the true racer as he fiddled more between rounds than anyone. I am going to put the XLS spreadsheet on SCJ later today. This was my biggest slotting thrill
ever to watch the thrill of victory and the pain of others with DNFs. One thing we forgot to mention was the joy of meeting these guys that were just names on
the internet before. Bruce's Yeoman's family came out. REH had a rep. and Fastlane proprietor Ray Torbeck worked his butt off. Dave Kennedy is an
incredible guy.

Good coverage and pictures, could you put names to the faces and cars for those of us who can not make these events?
Thanks |

Yeah, I'd really like to see the speed and the builder paired with the picture of the car. I think its important. After all, what's one more huge task
after all you guys have done already, eh?
Please?

Scared!? | ||
I was scared for Dan Dyke and Pat Moore at the scorer's table.Joking aside, we had a metal plate to Pat's (Pzooc) right and I had the metal plate and Pat to my right. Tom's missile was scary but those Superbirds and Chargers bouncing down the track were too and maybe even more so. Flyin Brian had the best wreck that looked like a NASCAR end over end tumble. Note the green piece of sheet metal to Pat' right. (Pat is the thin guy and I am the fat boy)

Anyone can restore a classic car, but it takes a real Hotrodder to cut one up and make it cool!
