Posts: 26 (05/11/09 06:19 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None it's a large car so i might have to opt for a faster motor like the 25,000 rpm ff from scalextric . and in the end there will be slot-it axles and gear to go along with the racer wire wheels or the racer wheels with inserts from the daytona corba "got any extra daytona wheels i messed one up " the painting went well, just a little rework on the left rear and then it's time for interior work, blue seats, black tub floor, driver. the car runs pretty well for the stock silver can motor. the next car (jag lister) will have a scaley green can ff motor. i invite all to my gallery for more pics Last Edited By: bob o 06/22/09 08:36 AM. I painted it as Freddy Wacker drove it. The proper wheels are the kidney bean Halibrands. I didn't have a set in 1/32, so I used the late Halibrands from a Cobra. Dave

That way you can make it what ever size you want. Is Al still selling those brackets? I didn't see them on his site. Ken Slot Racin' since 1963.

It is narrow enough for 1/32 cars and is a little longer to the axle holes. I think it's about five bucks. Dave

Posts: 31 (05/15/09 06:05 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	my updated pics landed in front of the thread oh well, as you can see i still need to trim the axles, but the way it's sitting now is the way it will run. i still don't know if i will solder, expoy or hot glue the motor in place. can i solder this motor without damaging it? next up is the guide, interior tub and paint.

The hotter it gets the more of the magnetic field will be lost. Shoo Goo works very well, and can be removed whenever you like. The car looks great. Should be a looker when done.
