How many other slot cars depict female drivers?
I'm aware of the white '56 T-Bird, the black '56 "Goth-Bird", and a Mustang from a James Bond movie.
Any others?

A friend asked me about the blonde driver in the white Carrera '56 T-Bird, so it got me thinking.

Fly has this Viper that was driven by women:
There was a Lolo Maserati by Carrera. Several Auto Art Street cars had female passengers.

Fly has at least several as box sets, not sure but maybe a series: Lady Racers.

Thanks all. I may have to look into the Thelma and Louise car, and maybe the others as well.

Jenny is right,
There are not enough women represented in 1/32 scale slot cars. Fly Car model has the most, besides the Lella Lombardi March and the Thelma & Louise Vette, there is also the Michelle Mouton driven Audi Sport Quattro. Also there is a very rare Fly C5 convertable Vette driven by a black woman and has a black female passenger. My sister-law owns this slot car so I don't have a picture right now. The girl in the white Carrera T-bird was based on a movie:
Harry's Carrera T-Bird Review on Slot Car Garage Here again you're likely to find a dispropotionate number of women in driving roles in movies comparitively speaking to male roles. Perhaps a suited question to follow might be; Why aren't there more female forum members on a slot car board?

And the more female forum members thing...well...don't ask me.

Maybe we should all make a list of women that had driving roles in movies. If we're going to do that I have a bunch of cars that were driven by males in
movies I'd still like to see made too.

My favorite was the Carrera Santa Mercedes. It actually had Jesus in the passenger seat! What other slot car has a deity in the driver's compartment?

I kind of think that of all the multitudes of good drivers... they all wear helmets when the race. You can't tell a genuine, delictable, competent female
from the weaker, more subservient sex until they take the helmets off, unless one is into studying stats re.who is who and where they are... then the problem
arises; with a representation of a female driver in a road car. Generally speaking the "artist?" who made the original for the mold either never
actually saw a real female, or they intentionally intended to depict cosmetic surgery gone horribly wrong. In either case, the exec. in charge of authorizing
production couldn't tell the difference. Most of the "Girls" look like "Guys" with long hair. I'm not all that good looking, but
not too bad, yet I would shudder to see a chick who looked like me.
