The front part of the chassis had to have a pin guide so nothing would be sticking out from under the front of the car. The big problem, because the car
sits so high was to get the braids to mate up with the rails on the track. I put some balsa blocks on the bottom of the chassis part and attached the braids
to that.

I've got to figure out how to attach the lead wires from the back part of the chassis to the front part. I want them to be secure, but in order to
remove the chassis for sevice or repairs they have to come apart. I also need to come up with a complete driver figure, which I don't have at this point.
I've had this running around the track and it runs real well. Going to take some time to get used to a pin guide. The balsa blocks work well and keep the
braids right on the rails. The rest of this week will be spent cleaning up the body, painting, decaling and oh my looking for that driver figure. More
pictures later. Any questions, comments or suggestions are welcomed. Regards John
Well it's kind of done. Still no driver guy yet so I didn't put in the steering wheel and I need to fabricate a review mirror. I did make a change to the chassis, replaced the pin guide with a cut down strombecker guide that works much better. Nice article about this type of car in the current Hemmings Exotic and Sports Car issue.
