I know, that Ninco doesnt support it anymore. But there have been quite a lot discussions . Why dont you make a forum for each of the major brands? Ninco, Carrera, Scalextric, SCX, Artin etc. ? I have seen that in other forums and the user like it. I am not in homeracingworld every day and then its annoying to scroll through the pages to find things about ninco .... duke

Making everything brand specific is just too much bandwidth to have when most times it is not used here. It might work other places, but just never caught on here. Yes, I have an Artin section...but thats because I love those cheap little toys and we have done a lot work helping folks with that brand. It also has postings and such in it that NINCO did not. Since this site is supported by the end user along with myself, we keep it tidy to save money and space. If all the folks here think breaking everything down by brand is the way to go, then we just might. But we have not needed it for years? If you do that them there will be folks wanting a F1 section or a Nascar section. If anything I rather see forums on local action, and events.

It also sort of keeps people from seeing all the choices and opportunities each brand has to offer. I think I have a bit of everything and have tried to run it seriously or for fun at one time or another. I'd like to think I can save you all the cash I blew to satisfy my Slot Car Jones. I believe each brand has distinct advantages and disadvantages depending on what the enthusiast is looking for. And I think that having it here on one space, we can and have discussed those issues at length and even seen some movment on the parts of some manufacturers to address many of our concerns. Or even solutions to the problems we have. For the most part there are things I like about most every manufacturer for some reason or another- very few do I get totally upset with... And besides, I'd prolly be like the only guy on the NSR forum. It would be very lonely. I enjoy the people here very much. Regards Bob

We talked about the frequency of postings, the change to the Yuku format, "my" ability to use the forum and the overall direction of the website, as well as other items. Over three years ago, with Harry's assistance and encouragement, I (MRC) started the NINCO forum on HRW. To clarify things, this was not a forum supported by NINCO..... the forum was supported by MRC, (the USA distributor for NINCO). For those who have used it, it has provided more than just (factual) information about NINCO and it's products in the USA, but excellent feedback and "conversation" from our customers, and help and tips for newbies from everyone on the forum. Harry's product reviews have always been fantastic, both in writing and in photography, but most important, provided a very fair and balanced and objective review of the car, set or other product. As Harry said, keeping a forum active requires lots of bandwidth and server space. From my point of view, the forum usage kept slowing down to a level where there weren't any posts for weeks at a time, and it seemed unnecessary to keep the forum "active". The bottom line is this..... I will continue to provide Harry (HRW) with review items and news about NINCO releases, etc., (just as always). It will be strictly up to HRW as to the location of the information and how it will be used. I intend to continue to respond to NINCO questions about products that require an "official" type of an answer. Race The Red Triangle! Bob/NINCO1

Why create a forum that is going to get one post every other day? It's more fun to have a "going" forum that caters to several brands getting several posts per day. More fun. More action. Less hassle on the forum owner. Just my 2 cents worth. Andre

I think that our Ninco forum can be served well within the constructs of the 1/32 forum. Any Ninco questions will still be answered and possibly some people will be introduced to Ninco products, who never visited the Ninco Forum before. Greg
