Just now got around to getting some pics off the camera from my sons Speed Racer Birthday Party last weekend. He turned the big 9 - (good night where has the
time gone).
I hadn't even thought of it but at the last minute my wife asks if I can set up a track at the party for the kids. Can I build a track?? Heck yeah! - so I start gathering supplies and then I look over at Cornered Cat Raceway - hmmmm - I think I can fit that in the back of the minivan! So I loaded her up and took about a dozen good running cars and the kids had a blast - even had to pry the controllers out of a few of the parents hands
I didn't get a bunch of pictures - it's tough to run the camera and marshal/referee:
My son didn't want candles on this cake - he didn't want to poke holes on a work of art

So we got everything packed up and came home a little late - and left the track in the back of the van............for 4 days.........in 98+ degree heat.
Note to self: if you build something and use hot glue, popsicle sticks and cardboard to put it all together - don't let it sit in a roasting van. Lesson learned
That was just the most obvious damage - all of the walls are loose as well. I'll fix it - when I get a chance.
