Interesting topic Mr. Pecos, sir.

1. Name: Greg ( but my best friends refer to me as: Hey A*% hole)

2. Location: Sandy, OR (East of Portland)

3. Age: 60 in a couple of weeks. Same birthdate as GWB and Tenzin Gyatsu, the current Dalai Lama.. I used to think that I was somewhere in between them socially and politically, but I took an online psychology test and it turns out that I lean substantially to the left of good old Tenzin.

4. Marital Status: Married for 19 years, but we joyously lived together in sin for 17 years prior to the day I nailed my foot to the floor. Since then I've just been walking around in circles.

5. Kids: Vasectomy in '72
6. Occupation: Small (miniscule) Business Owner - chief advantage is that I can pilfer pencils with impunity...

7. HRW Name & Why: Slider - I used to enjoy sliding sports cars around corners in my wildly misspent youth.

8. Favorite type of Racing: Road

9. Favorite Drivers: Too easy. The illustrious Mr. Daniel Sexton Gurney. Taught himself to race on dirt in orange groves in So. CA when he was but a lad. Generally speaking the fastest man on the track in any type of car, in every race he ran, but was unfortunately plagued by broken cars. Didn't start fist fights in the pits like A.J. and managed to stay alive through some very fast and hazardous times.

10. Favorite Food: Almost any ethnic... Oriental, Italian, Middle Eastern. I won't eat raw sheeps eyes... Nordic salted, dried, rotten fish dishes or heavy greasy German or Baltic. My maternal grandmother was Czheck & made something she called pastries for holiday meals. They were a bit on the heavy side and could actually crack tile if you dropped one on the floor.

17. The Slot Car you let get away: I actually gave it away 40 years ago, but it was Eric Broadly's Lola Ford Mk 6 GT coupe in 1/32 scale, on a scratch brass chassis with a Russkit Mabuchi. I wish I had it today

18. About how big is your Collection: Less than Kurt's. Between 2 & 3 dozen, but I've only slipped back into this pool for a little over a year. I've got about 4 more unreleased models on pre-order now.

19. Where do you get most of your Cars: OnLine - I've purchased from every sponsor on this and another site. But my favorite is Paul Kassens at 132slotcar.us. Most of my cars came from him. One of the things I like about him (there are many, but...) is that he ships free for a $50.00 order. I don't know how he can do it. Nobody else that I know of will offer that... but if you only need 1 car or a few parts, it's like getting a $6.00 discount. So that $50 dollar car only really cost you $44 bucks comparitively. Hard to beat that with a stick!

20. Do you race in a club or group: Nope. Nobody within about 30 or 40 miles, but I'm working on fixing that and corrupting people who seem interested. They can run my track, cars & controllers just to get them hooked... for now...

7. HRW Name & Why: "Gimmick" of my track is to use strategically placed crossovers (including straddled by single lane digital tracks) to permit going across all lanes of 4 or 6 lane Carrera track layouts in a single lap (have to see to visualize, but makes for great racing)
8. Favorite type of Racing: NASCAR racing in the 60s; old school street stock/bomber racing (also new "Street Stock Enduros" on superspeedways); road racing in the 60s
9. Favorite Driver: Lake Speed, Bobby Allison, Alan Kulwicki, Danny Ongais ("The Flyin' Hawaiian"), James Hylton; respect Robby Gordon's "old school" all purpose talents in racing
10. Favorite Food: What else - White Castles ("skillet scabs", "rectum rockets", etc.), any greasy and/or grilled hamburger, peanut butter pie, anything with DNA in it

What kind of track do you have: 4 Lane Artin Austrian Alpine Road Course, Six Lane Carrera Speedway (various shapes), Four lane Carrera road course (currently Sebring layout), 6 lane routed short track (5.5 ft. by 8 ft., lanes only 1 inch apart, all six lanes cross over at either end (not for limp wristed racers on other boards that do not like their cars to touch each other))
17. The Slot Car you let get away: Lolo's Maserati (one collectible I did not foresee), Ninco Classics when they were cheap (have one each of most of them)
18. About how big is your Collection: around 1700 cars (grabbed stockpiles of NASCARS, other favorites)
19. Where do you get most of your Cars: Slot Car Place, Bullitt Speedway, Hobby Linc, Pendle, etc.
20. Do you race in a club or group: Trying to start a group in basement (getting lap counter finished, then ready to race!)
