New wood oval |
Lead | |
|
I just picked up my new wood oval from subdude17349 on Sat. and it is now up and running complete with the timing system and track call buttons installed.
Here is a couple pics of it. Tomorrow night will be our first race on it. I think there is a couple guys in for a big shock coming from plastic to wood and
having never run on wood before.

Hey Tom... I was there to help you load er up on Saturday.... wish I had got a chance to run a couple laps before it got dismantled and hauled off. Looks like
it will be a blast! Let us know how your first race goes!

I really appreciated the help. I hope you guys got to read my apology on the IHSR forum. Anyway, you should have said something I would have left you run a
few laps before it was torn down. Maybe someday in the future you can get to run it up here. My brother and I were playing around last night on it for awhile
and man, I can't believe I didn't go to wood sooner. We ran a couple different type cars side by side for countless laps. Again thanks for the help.

Nice one! Nothing like an oval...and nothing like one cut from lumber.

What are the specs on this track ?
Do you run 1/24th cars on it ? What are the radious ' ? I like the clean set up and the simplicity. It has that " racers track " look. GoneGonzo |

The track specs are 5 ft. by 16 ft. 10 degree banking on the turns, 4" lane spacing. Yes we run Hardbody NASCAR and Hardbody Street Stocks on it.
