The motor is a 6V (not Artin). A potentiometer is added to control the speed of the blades but still spins a bit fast. I a slower motor when they became available will be a nice for this windmill. Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I tried the various step down combinations but finally got an old rotisserie motor for my revolving Dollar General KFC bucket. The pole is a square balsa dowel. These shots date back to the beginning of the track in the summer of '06. Maybe someone can build a functional wind generator to produce 12 V DC. I had a parent build me a fuel cell purportedly for my Earth Science class at another school. It produced 12 V but the other school misplaced the device. You shouldn't be powering your windmills from your power supply. The windmills should be your power supply. Think Green Jimmy 43
