I'm not an electrician by no means but i Have accomplised this. I got a 13.8 power supply. I've eliminated the stock Jiada power base. I've added brakes to the track. Made a simple driver station.. Added brakes to my Jiada controller using copper tape. To my astonishment it all works. My Jiada track now has brakes and an aftermarket power supply. One thing though the cars run in the wrong direction. What do I need to do to get the cars going in the other direction. Next question I'm going to be going to four lanes on a 8 X 16 table. Will I need to get another power supply or will my current one be enough. The one I have is 13.8v 3amp.

I bought 4 rolls of 1/4 X 5 yards of conductive copper tape for $2.95 each. I have a piece of MDF leftover from some remodeling I've been doing so my next project is I'm gonna try to do a routed track so I can run 1/24 cars also. Wish me luck. My wife bought me a router 5 years ago and I've never used it. Never had a reason to until now. Thanks to slot car racing I get to use new power tools.
