Some worthless trivia.......I noticed a scrawled caricature of Smokey Yunick on the side of the 66 Corvair you directed me to. He modified a Corvair engine once by doing everything he could to heat the fuel mixture and trap heat in the engine. Everybody else was using cool cans for fuel and trying to expel as much heat as possible. His car made more horsepower and got better gas mileage than the so-called smart guys. I think he added some potion to the fuel, but he never told anybody.
