mark part #1 in half long ways and 1/4" from sides.next mark 1" on each side of center line cut off all 4 corners.next mark off frount at 3/4" next mark off 5/16 from center of that line and V to frount,cut out



now take piece #6 mark center of 1 end 3/16 from end drill .180 hole and round off the end 1/8 arond the hole



now glue axle mounts to chassis along cut out corners be sure to keep square and at 90 degree angle



glue your 1/4 squares to the chassis for the side pods

next glue the face to the side pods part #4



now you can add the rear plate and the wire holder.try to make the rear line up flush with the edges and the frount should conect the frount of your side pods



now install the motor mount ,depending on the motor shaft length,dictates were it goes.this one is getting a falcon so it will go 7/8" from the rear,also i test fit the axels in place


next you may have to cut for clerance for the gear on the bottom of the chassis,i just made a 1/4"x1/2" slit 7/16" from te right side

finaly take the flag tounge and mark it in half then mark the chassis down the center.now just line them up and glue.with the tounge on top of the chassis


now you can put it together.just a note carrera frount axles come with 2 plastic spacers you will have to cut one off(i would do the inside).you can cut them both off if you are useing this for road racing



this one has a 4" wheel base for an upcoming progect

i just use testers model glue (the orange one)
