make SCX look good. You are to be commended. Not to mention also the fact that you are a great photographer and a real asset to the hobby in general and
several websites which I frequent.

This January my club (Shoreline Model Raceways) hosted the Northeast SCX Challenge. The event was run on two tracks at one time over a two day period. I
believe that there were six cars for each of the two classes that were run with two cars for each class being backups. The cars were in constant use between
the practice time and the racing with no failures. We run non-magnet at 10 volts. It might be a good idea to avoid free running these motors at maximum
voltage. It looks as if it would be nice if they had epoxy on the windings like all 1/24th commercial raceway motors have.

WOW! Thanks Dave, I will keep everybody posted on what's going on with these.
I mean for the amount of cars SCX sells, I feel they're really an underestimated manufactor for what someone gets who's really budget minded (which I am!). They make great products and the cars are well enough detailed that make them worth what they're sold for. If I could've put it any better than what slider2 said, I would Mr. Kennedy. You as well have my deepest appreciation for the comment and thought alone! I have looked at the after-market pod for SCX for the other motors and, I am looking at that as that Peugeot 908 HDI is just begging for a Slot-it or NC-5 motor! Matthew
Shelf queens...I've heard of those, but I bought it to race it, not look at it.

Drop a hot 16D arm in the thing, and you'll have a rocket on your hands . . .

Well, for my own home racing 2 SCX's vs. 1 Fly... well you can guess which route I take.
SCX's have just been a positive purchase for me and like I said, will continue to buy their new releases, because I have a black Subaru that's looking very tempting right now from them! Matthew

Well,
No motors in the mailbox as of yet. I'll go until Saturday and see what happens. Of course maybe these are coming from overseas? So maybe it'll take awhile? Matthew
