A few things- Another car that comes to mind as pretty much a failure but loved by slotters, myself included- the Cheetah.
As for the Racers, Chris- They're a bit out of scale, usually considered 1/30, but there are a few other notable cars like that. I had the opportunity to run a Racer 250LM. If it would have had good (read as Urethane/Ortmann K&D) tires on it, non-mag, it would have been a really nice car to race. The lack of grip with their stock compound was rather disappointing. I'd think with a Slot.it V12/3 Yellow motor, 9/26 offset gears and pod, proper tire compound, and weight where necessary, it'd be an enjoyable car to race seriously non-mag. I wish Mike had got a set of K&D's made for his and raced it seriously. I think he'd have been extremely competitive and had a really good car. Bob |

I remember all the hooplah over these cars, but sadly it never really happened for them. They always reminded me of some of the earlier Ferrari's. It just
had those swoopy lines that resembled them.
