And what a wonderful night we had too. Our loyal racers.... With summer getting closer, some of the racers had other plans and were not able to make it to the track. A couple of vintages that Mike Holified brought by... Nick was able to get the lights done on this one... It looks like we have a new series might be coming soon... An Artin by Jason... Doyle's 1/24... The Crash-n-Burn line-up... The 00 car was modeled by Big Mike for Chris... During one heat, some of the racers decided that this oughta be a good spot for a parking lot. It was really cool, they just lined up one right after another... The score board... Big Mike was the winner. Congrats Mike. For supper Doyle's wife had made a Mesquite flavored roasted pork loin plus all the fixins.. It was great. Sorry I was so busy eating, I forgot to take pictures. Most of the night was dedicated to the Artin Series and the new sprint cars. The next race will be Saturday May 24, 2008 at BottomLand Speedway. Till next time.... You Can never have too many slot cars!!!

I had a great time and think everyone else did too. The Sprint Plus cars seem to be a hit and everyone started giving their Artin Stockers and Bombers a look in first prep for the race coming up in June and July.... Thanks to Doyle for opening up his shop to us and for supplying the food. Here's a better pic of the car I built for Chris. He was very happy with the way it looked and ran. Now I have to get busy building some Artin cars for the big races coming up in June and July. See you all in two weeks. Besides, there are a couple of pics taken of me somewhere in the archives. The cars we're building are getting better all the time. I can't wait to see what we can come up with in a few years from now. You Can never have too many slot cars!!!
