The leads-Dorothy Malone and John Ireland: Putrid The story-Wrongly Accused becomes Winning Racer: Preposterous The cars-vintage Jags, MGs, Mercedes, Austin-Healeys, and Porsches: Priceless! Nerf

I have a guilty pleasure, that of watching bad movies. I'm also a MSTie, or Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan. And Roger Corman's films are prominent on that show. And I have a copy of Roger Corman's "Death Race 2000". Talk about a goofy, silly, bad movie. But it makes me laugh from start to finish. One of the greatest DJ's off all time, "The Real Don Steele" plays Junior Bruce, a smarmy announcer, and it helps to make the film a real hoot. And a yolung Sylvester Stallone as the bad guy, "Machine Gun Joe", is also priceless. Bob

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	While we're at it, a scene from Play Misty for Me shows Clint Eastwood driving up to his radio station parking right next to a green AMX - what a beauty. And yes, the Green Helmet was awesome. DR2000 and Eat My Dust are special to me as I saw them in a double feature at the local theatre way back in 1976. Cool stuff. Oh, I found the original fast and the furious at the local walmart for $1. Well worth it. There's another movie from that time period where 3 chicks are driving three cars in the desert causing mayhem and murder...its really worth watching for the car lovers out there...think of a long version of a twilight zone episode.
