Michael's Arts and Crafts recently opened a new store here. I made the mistake of going in 30 minutes before
closing. Didn't make it out of the plastic model section before the girl on the P.A. told everybody to hurry up. I found a set of military model paints, so
there will be some happy cops and construction workers with new duds and face lifts. Got a liner and a shader to go with the new paint set. I usually cut my
own sticks, but I grabbed a bag of "store bought" sticks for some billboards, I am going to have quite a few. Here's is a couple of pix of the
first one....

I downloaded the picture and printed it and stuck it on a 3x5 card. Then four vertical sticks and one across the top were glued to the back.
It would look even better with a catwalk and lights and I left room for the outdoor advertiser's phone number at the bottom.
Here is some of my personal art that will become a sign for Bearcreek Motorsports Park, site of the upcoming motorcycle hillclimb and cow pasture obstacle course.....I used poster paints on blue Kentucky slate from 1899 which was removed from our family home in 2005 and replaced with shingles. I saved a bunch and painted on some of it.
