Now there's an idea! Keep the H&R motors and go to the die cast bodies! Everybody duck!! Uh Oh here comes Patrick forget ducking... clear the

You can't imagine what action I can get with light, open wheel cars! They will fly!
Just watch out if someone mounts a wing on one of them. Fly boy |

I already have a Falcon1 mounted in mine and narrowed a pair of old hard dried-out .790 sponge tires for the front. I also narrowed the rear tires a little
since they are just too wide for my taste. I've heard of people having trouble with Falcon1's but I've run several of them and so far haven't
smoked one.
I didn't know we were looking for slower motors, I thought we were just looking for something that pulls less amps than a 16D. Big Mike Smokey Yunick quote "Bill France Jr. was born stupid and he got dumber every day" |

Hey Mike, I'm thinking that we don't neccessarily want too much slower a motor.. What I am seeing.. with the Falcon 1 you dropped off is that I had to
put some weight on the front to keep from popping wheelies... but no big deal..and it didn't even pull an amp when gunned at 12 volts so good news there...
however the only thing about the Falcon 1 that concerns me now is what Mark said about quality issues.. I have him sending me the Falcon 4s. He seemed to think
it would fit what we are looking for.

We've sold 150 Falcon 1 motors in the last year and have yet to have a complaint.

Okee dokee got the Falcon 4s in today and put one to the test.. I like it. With the help of my lovely assistant Ashley (my part time help) I found that at 12
volts when first gunned hard it jumps all the way to 1 amp than settles down to about a half an amp.. so no power problems with it. I like the way it handles
and has plenty of speed and torque... I think this is the ticket! Turned a hundred laps with a best time of 2.495 seconds on the 5th lane with a distance is
31.5 feet. So now we need to make a decision on the tires.. I noticed in BigMikes post showing his he didn't use the O-ring tires either.

I bought a couple of batches of the Falcon 1 motor. In the first batch of 100 almost half went to a friend who sells cars online and haven't heard anything
bad from him. The second half went to the SCORE organization (it's the spec motor for all classes) and so far only one guy has had any go "poof"
on him. He likes to run some big gearing pulling cars that weigh between 150 to 200 grams. He has had 3 or 4 blow up. We have only started to dip into the
second batch so only time will tell there.
