"If a runner-up in a race Saturday had to be euthanized, why couldn't it have been Kyle Busch instead of a nice horse?"
Looked like a righteous racing indent to me, but the NASCAR conspiracy folks have run with this.

Kyle Bile is roilin' and a-broilin' in Junior Nation in this area. For example, this phone call to the Primetime with the PackMan
radio show on Charlotte's WFAN 610 AM:

Looked like a righteous racing indent to me, but the NASCAR conspiracy folks have run with this.I have Hotpass on Directv and I watched the Jr. channel. At first look I thought it was just racing, til I saw the replays, plus I have Tivo so I stopped and replayed it a bunch of times. 1.) Coming out of turn 4 Kyle got a little loose but gained back control in turn 1 Busch drove in too hard, he was in the middle of the track, and Jr up high. there was plenty of room down low, wasn't like he was getting pinched. 2.) A donut (tire mark) in the door in a turn, Is going to spin somebody out. 3.) And after the replay showed Busch turn his wheels into Jr. no question he hit him. I was more pissed at Hamlin for bring out the caution on purpose. |

Agreed. That was a waste of a perfectly good horse. They spent millions to fix Barbaro, and still put him down and this one didn't even have a chance.
She was dead before Big Brown finished his pace lap.
You could tell however that Jr. was upset and he tried to write it off as a racing incident, but DW called it right. And they should have penalized the entire team for Hamlin's incident. He knew the tire was going down and purposely waited for it to blow to park it on the wall and bring out the caution so Righteous Busch could get another shot at Jr. Well, he got one all right. (sorry, had the wrong face in there, didn't mean to upset anybody)

Kyle didn't do anything that Jr.'s daddy didn't do. How soon people forget.

Consensus appears to suggest they are ALL jerks. Speaking of which, where's Tony? I watched the race...if any of us did that move on the freeway, we would
be shot at it. No doubt about it, he turned into Jr. Oh well, there's another race next week, no?

No, not mad, c'mon, I've got too many other things to worry about these days. Like where am I gonna get the cash for all these new slot cars coming
out! Besides, he hasn't one a race in almost 2 years.
I just felt that with 4 laps to go, he could have raced him a little more cleanly than that. As a comparison, Mark Martin wouldn't have wrecked him to get the win. Kyle is young, and a hothead and maybe one day he'll grow out of it. Besides, "there is always a race next week".

Hey Pecos, watched the same race as you but dont have a Divo or whatever,( I did see a ton of replays though) but I was pretty sure that coming down the
straight into the turn Busch was ahead and had the line, then into the corner Jr drove deeper and passed Busch. Busch braked, as did Jr, both racing hard. ( If
you still have it check it out for me)
Jr starts to come down, Busch dosent go down. Busch starts to slide and corrects to save his car, slidding up and into Jr. Jr gets punted into the wall by the contact. I was pulling for Jr to win too. After it was all said and done, I figure the problem was started with Hamlin, and that just created a real tight race between 2 very motivated drivers. I'm sure that will just put a little extra umpf in Jrs tank for the next race. Yep Im a Jr fan Bob
