I think you would find my new FF050 motor to be a nice powerplant for these cars.
Those two Monogram Static kits are not the same as the Slot Car kit, they were first released in the late 50s, and, are 1/18th scale, about thesize of a regular 1/24 scale car. The later Monogram slot car was 1/24 scale, but, about the size of most 1/32 scale cars. The two kits are totaly different.
