Posts: 21 (04/28/08 08:01 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Hj Guys, Just wanted to let you know so you can make your plans. we are rescheduling the April race to May 31st., this will put us back on the last Sat. of the month schedule. We will try and hold some sort of race every month, so if you have any ideas for a race let us know. We will not be running teams this time to try something different. Right now it looks like 8-10 minute segments on the road course and 5 or 6 on the oval. We are going to try and get the lighted cars for the road course. Keep checking back more info to follow. As always we look forward to seeing you guys. We will open at 8 and not have any qualifying so that should save us some time so we can get the out of towners home early. Sr.

You can mapquest us at 4150 East Bluelick Rd. Lou. Ky 40229. You can contact us at (502) 955-5509. These races go over really and are well attended. We are usually finished racing by 6 or 7 pm. Everyone is welcome stop in and see us if you can. Both races will be IROC style with the track furnishing the cars. Sr.

One request I have from the "out of towners" is to start the race a little later, so we don't have to leave for the track before 6 AM Central Time in Nashville. We had more than enough time after the race to get home afterwards, since we roll back to Central Time back home, so we would prefer a later start. The Ohio gang may have a different opinion about that, so we would defer to whatever is best for everyone's interests. Thanks for getting this together!

I'll check with the northerners as to how a later start will effect them. We will save about an hour by not qualifying so it shouldn't be a problem. We should also get quicker at lane changes now that we have done this before. It should be fun, now that we are back at the end of the month I think we are going to try to do something every month. What would be your thoughts about using the scx pro cars, everybody have thier own car and maybe run them every other month on the king? Also something I would like would be maybe Indy cars on the oval, but again I think it would be where you had to have your own car because I don't know if they would take the extra laps for IROC style. Bring anyone you can the more racers the more compettion and more fun. What is your thoughts about starting an hour or so later? We want to make it as easy as possible for the out of towners. Sr.

I did ride up with him. Now if we can get the guys in the Boro to come. Since they are 45-50 min from Nashville that makes an even earlier start for them. So if we start at 9 would be a plus for those guys. I posted the invitation on SlotCarUniverse yesterday. Hopefully we will get some takers.

It doesn't matter when the race is over we'll still hang around swapping stories and buying slot cars we 'need' for hours. I think I can speak for Gene and Bob when I say, whatever time you start is fine with us. I've checked the schedule and I'll be there.
