Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	i have a PM, but from Steve ;p had a nice motorcycle trip yesterday, 300 miles and only 50 in the rain ... also a test ride on the new Aprilia Shiver 750 - a real nice bike and another test ride on a real ground-ground-missile - CBR600RR. 80mph in the first gear ... It's the National Trout Festival today in Kalkaska Mi. Big Parade is at 2:00pm. Make sure your all there Car show, Demo Derby is on line for tomorrow. And of course the all weekend long fishing contest! They plant fish around the neighborhood lakes with tags on them with dollar amounts. I think $10 grand is the big prize down to $25. One is 2 stock trucks in a figure 8 for $7 and the other a larger setup with 2 trucks and 2 stock cars for $10.50. Now I have 70ish feet of track and since I only have about 3x5 area to build a track display I doubt I'll run out of track before I fill it.... I also grabbed a couple Jessie James small diecast choppers for decor. Is there any program you can list your track pieces and it will spit out random track configurations for a given area? That would save me alot of hair pulling lol. Now I am just parked at the computer doing some vector art for work, such a pleasant way to spend the rest of my Saturday.

Look at this....done with ZMod ver1.07b.... I took pictures of a straight connected to a curve and modeled from it. Then I separated them in the program and cloned a bunch of them and just started spewing them into the track model and rotated and elevated and then built the track. I'm still working on it gradually. You are actually NEVER done when you are scenic-ing your layout. Tell you what, I'll make a 3x5 track for you and see how you like it. I do contract art for extra cash on weekends since the company doesn't have an art department at this time. Vector art is pretty much the standard for manufacturers now a days and this being the first year that it is a strict requirement it keeps me busy when I want extra cash converting old raster art to vector. My daughter informed me I could use the entire dining room if I wanted, so sweet of her... I just can't recall the last time she paid the rent lol. I have been rearranging and measuring for 2 days and can go 3x8ish or 4x6. Currently my dining room is my computer center/electronics/robotics/gadgetry area but it is really the only extra space in the apt. I gave the brat the bigger bed room since she lives in her room mostly and I just sleep in mine. I think I will really get off on doin the scenic additions. I did alot of miniature stuff when I was younger with AD&D and war gaming. Any layouts for the area sizes would be appreciated.
