Ebay and I have spent a LOT of time together over the past 3 weeks. One of these these items (I believe it was the Chaparral 2H) ended at 2:30am and I was
there watching until the end. I"ve wanted that car for a very long time but have never found one that I was willing to pay the asking price for...until
this one. It is as mint condition as anything I've seen for a used/played with 40 year old car. Besides...I've given up hope for the MRRC Cheetah, so I
had some $$$'s that needed to be spent.
The white Chaparral body will go on a Strombecker chassis. That will replicate the one I had in my old Monaco set. Some day I'll get the Lotus as well, but the Chaparral was always my favorite between the two.
Cheetah's? We have Cheetah bodies in HO and 1/24, as well as a complete Strombecker Cheetah in its original chassis configuration.
The Jag is in excellent played with condition, and the Porsche is NIB.
The Vettes aren't vintage, but I've always liked them.
The Scaley tires, hopefully, will fit some of my cars. They seem to fit the Artin Digi-Pro cars, but might require a minor tweak to the wheel wells.
