Of course you can see it. it is stored on your computer. But your computer is no server, so we can not access it.

Paul,
That looks like quite a field. Nice As far as pics go, I had some problems with photobucket last year, now I have Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. I just download from the camera
(which I have yet to re-purchase after it's unexplained disappearence, but I digress) to a Windows My Pics folder, click to the Adobe program (free btw)
and the photos are downloaded to that program. I don't know if it acts as a server or not, but it seems alot easier. I had no sweat loading pics to my
profile's album. Take a look. Hope this helps

Fellas! I didn't make these. This picture is my inspiration for some repaints I've done/am doing. I posted it so people could see the kind of cars
I'm doing these days. I really wanted to know who else, besides Jim of course, is doing these cars or has done some in the past. I'm just looking for
ideas and hoping others will share examples of thier work.
If I can borrow someones camera, I will post photos of the cars I've done too. So far I've done the following: A Petty Belvedere from the Johan model with a protrack chassis A Andretti Ford Fairlane with the H&R chassis A 1/32 Gurney Ford Galaxie (converted Monogram #11 car) A 1/32 Chevy 59 impala in Black/gold fantasy livery A 1/32 56 Chevy (Herb Thomas #92) from a Monogram kit w/ a Carrera GTO chassis A 1/32 circa 50's early 60s T-Bird that I bought from a board member (cant remember who) It's awesome

In order to post pictures on most BBs they must already be available on the Internet someplace and you just link to them. You first must set up an account with a photo sharing site. You must pick one that lets you use them as a proxy server. I use Photobucket http://photobucket.com. First upload the pictures to Photobucket, once you have done that look under the picture at the box labeled "Img" which contains the ezCode that you use to link the picture to this board. Just left click on the text in the box to copy all of the necessary information to your clipboard. When you are doing your post, press Ctrl and V at the same time to paste the URL into your message. If you are going to post more than one picture the easy thing to do is open another copy of your browser. Leave one copy open to Photobucket and the other open to the BB, that makes it easier to repeat the copy and paste procedure. Photobucket is free, but you have to pay if you want more space or to post videos. The site now includes some editing capabilities and will even make a picture into an avatar. |
