trouble with buyers not paying? |

Are any of you guys here having trouble getting guys to pay for cars both here and on Ebay? A couple regular guys here, who I have sold to before, refused to
pay for cars sold here and others on Ebay! One guy makes excuses, the other flat out won't reply and has done this two times now. What's with this?

I hope you didn't ship the cars before receiving payment for them.
I've only had one problem on eBay with someone not paying for a die-cast car. I wasn't very happy at the time but when I relisted it and it sold for $50.00 more than the first time I was very happy. So far I haven't had any problem with anyone on here. I, for one, would like to know who has stiffed you on payment so I can avoid them when I have things to sell. Can you give a time frame, and is it possible that the guy just isn't logging in as often as you think he should be? When you say 'refused', do you mean you have contact with him and he's saying "No, I won't pay"?" First of all Kirt, you have the facts wrong. I did NOT sell something to someone else after waiting only two days for payment! I sold it to someone else a few days later because the guy NEVER said he wanted to buy it until after I sold it. Get the facts straight before you accuse me of something! There have been a few guys here on this forum who said they wanted a car and even went so far as to say Paypal was on the way and NEVER sent payment. I had to hold the car for them when others wanted it too. One guy told me each week for 3 weeks he would send payment on Friday and never did. This is inconsiderate and wrong. The other part is Ebay buyers. There are a LOT of deadbeat buyers there now. I have a couple buyers now who will not answer emails, invoices, or pay. Apparently a good deal of people have that problem now as most sellers have a statement refering to such matters in their adds. Im only selling on Ebay now. Its not great but you have some way to get help when you deal with bad people. You should have been a Lawyer Kirt. You LOVE to argue everything!

(first come, first serve and all), and I think it was actually a day and a half that you hadn't heard from him, and said so. You even said you hadn't
received payment yet.
I use eBay a lot, and I've had one deadbeat buyer in 5 years. But I've seen and heard of a lot of transactions going south in a hurry when one side is very impatient. I dunno, man. Maybe it's them...

just my 2 cents here but if you recall slotpoor the purchase I made from you was all up front on my part (yours too by the way) we both knew what was happening
from the start. I didnt even disclose the shipping address until you received my payment (I TRUSTED YOU). Have faith and if it dont work out make a mentle note
never to deal with them again. Not to stir the pot but I wouldnt mind knowing who these people are for my notes. Like I said just my 2 cents o ya I would
recommend you as a seller. THANKS DAVE!
